1. What the bot stores
The Activity Heatmap Bot and its site integration store only the data needed to connect a Discord server to a Discordify listing and generate activity analytics.
- Server identifiers needed to link a guild to the correct Discordify listing.
- Configuration and setup state such as whether the bot is present, whether setup is complete, timezone-related settings, and sync timestamps.
- Cached analytics payloads such as message totals by day or hour, imported history ranges, and top-member activity summaries for supported views.
2. What the bot does not ask for
Discordify does not ask server owners to provide the bot token, private source code, Discord passwords, or payment card details to use this feature.
- The feature is designed around analytics and setup state, not message content publication.
- The public heatmap displays aggregated activity, not full chat logs or direct messages.
3. How the data is used
- To render the public activity heatmap when a server owner enables it.
- To show owner-facing stats such as recent sync state, supported history ranges, and top active members.
- To support operational checks, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and entitlement enforcement for the feature.
4. What may be public
If a linked server listing enables the feature publicly, Discordify may display aggregated message activity data on that listing.
- Public displays are limited to the heatmap and related summary information that the feature is configured to expose.
- Owner-only pages may show more detailed analytics than the public listing.
5. Retention and control
Cached analytics and diagnostic records may remain for as long as needed to operate the feature, prevent abuse, and investigate sync issues.
- Removing the bot, disabling the feature, or removing the linked listing may stop future syncs.
- For deletion or privacy requests, contact Discordify support.
