Why Join?

Prototype came out in 2009. Prototype 2 came out in 2012. Radical Entertainment got gutted a few months later, and the series has been sitting in a vault ever since. Most communities built around these games died years ago — dead subreddits, abandoned forums, wikis nobody's edited since 2016. This server exists because a game being old doesn't mean it stopped being good.

What you'll actually find here:

Discussion for both games, no favoritism. Whether you're Team Mercer or Team Heller, whether you think Prototype 2 streamlined the formula or watered it down, you'll find people to argue with. Both games get their own channels so nobody's spoiling one for someone playing the other.

Real tech support. Both titles are old enough to fight modern hardware. Crashes on startup, broken cutscenes, controller issues, frame-rate lock problems, GFWL leftovers, widescreen fixes — we've got people who have solved these and written it down. If you're trying to get either game running on Windows 11 or Steam Deck, ask.

Mods and tools. Texture packs, trainer builds, camera mods, gameplay tweaks, and anyone digging into the game files. Modding scene for these games is small, which is exactly why having it in one place matters.

Lore and theory channels. Blacklight, Redlight, Hope Idaho, Elizabeth Greene, what Mercer actually is after the first game, whether the Prototype 2 ending holds up, how the comics and tie-in material fit. Deep-dive territory, and people here have receipts.

Clips, screenshots, and art. Post your best glide chains, your dumbest ragdoll physics moments, your 20-kill helicopter runs, your fan art, your OCs. Nobody here is tired of seeing someone throw a tank.

Challenge runs and events. Occasional community challenges — no-powers runs, hard mode completions, speedrun attempts, event score competitions. Casual, no pressure, join when you feel like it.
